WEB DESIGN: Ginn G Boutique
When Virginia told me she wanted to open a boutique, I was so excited. She has a huge retail background and we’ve always been able to share the passion. Being sister in laws only makes that even more fun!
Last year, we worked together at a local booth for 12East, which was my boutique at the time. We had the best time that whole week, selling our hearts out. There is just something about retail that makes you bond with those around you. You spend your days and nights pouring your heart and soul into the brand, because you want your customers to love everything and you want your products to change their life.
So, it’s only natural that after that week we had to find another project to work on together.
For Ginn G, Virginia wanted something that reflects her personal style and love of patterns. When we were discussing what colors and ideas she loved, she mentioned navy and gold foil. She also mentioned that she had a beautiful pattern at home she wanted to show me. She then took a quick snap on her phone and emailed it to me.
I was able to surprise her by incorporating the pattern into the quatrefoil logo as an overlay. I used her favorite gold foil texture in all of the logos, giving it a classy yet modern feel.
I love this brand, not just because the clothes are absolutely AMAZING and affordable, but because I stand behind the woman building it. Virginia embodies style, class, and a Christian heart that knows retail like the back of her hand, knows what her customers want, and will do anything to make sure they’re satisfied with their purchase.
